So, I left for Canada 12 days ago, I'll be pursuing a masters degree in engineering from U of W. Now I'm settled in a nice dorm town house in Waterloo, Ontario with a nice roommate. I met some wonderful friends how guided me and helped me keep my sanity in the first few days :) I already started reading about my research project (I'll come to that later), classes will begin next Monday.

Working on a Qt-based app and got this bizzar error.. after some painfull debugging and searching I found out that I was freeing a null pointer :). A hack to this problem is disabling the check done by glibc by setting the flag MALLOC_CHECK_ to 0 (not recommending since it would "cover" your mistake). Lesson learned: always check every letter of code you right.

Here are I am at the same period of each year, swamped with quizzes and assignments, my brothers having the same damn chronic argues with my parents about where to spend the Easter vacation... Well, this year I decided to break from the loop and do somethin' new... lock myself up in my room and start device drivers coding.

Well, I'm finally done with final exams for this semester, I screwed up pretty bad in the artificial intelligence exam last Wednesday and still recovering from the shock.
